Advertising Policy

  1. Chemistry and Materials upholds stringent ethical standards across all its operations, with a paramount commitment to defending editorial independence. The journal strictly prohibits advertising or sponsorship from influencing any decisions related to editorial content.
  2. Readers are expected to differentiate between advertising and editorial material. It is understood that claims made in advertisements are not endorsed by Chemistry and Materials.
  3. The journal will only feature advertisements that are lawful, ethical, and in full compliance with current recommendations and guidelines. Decisions regarding the placement of advertisements are made entirely independently of editorial department decisions concerning the content of any specific issue.
  4. Editorial material will remain uninfluenced by advertising. Chemistry and Materials does not publish content specifically designed to accompany advertisements, nor does it sell advertising space in direct relation to particular articles.
  5. All decisions regarding advertising acceptance are at the sole discretion of the editor. Commercial clients who adhere to these guidelines are likely to have their advertisement or sponsorship accepted. Occasionally, the decision-making process may require additional time.
